<u>Directions for newbees...</u><br>
Guildford Rd is half way up to the Peak next to the petrol station adjacent Barker Rd <br>
so if you really get lost ask a boy scout or take a taxi! You can catch a No 15 bus from <br>
Central or Queens Rd East, Wanchai. (Make sure the bus is travelling in an Eastern direction - <br>
East being the direction you face in the morning to see the sun rise over your cornflakes. <br>
A 1A mini bus can be caught from the site of former HMS Tamar, now the Chinese PLA barracks, <br>
body parts and execution centre in Central about 50 metres East (remember the cornflakes) <br>
of Star Ferry on Hong Kong side. That is the side opposite Kowloon Side! It travels up the <br>
hill to the peak, the 1A not the Star Ferry, in a southerly direction (that is the opposite <br>
direction to the compass you have just purchased from China products) and turns left into <br>
Guildford Rd just before the aforementioned petrol station. Get off the mini bus just before <br>
it turns left into Mansfield Rd, or alternatively if you wish to get full value for money you <br>
can stay on the bus go all the way up to the peak and get off on the way down! <br><br>

Guildford Rd is half way up to the Peak next to the petrol station adjacent Barker Rd <br>
so if you really get lost ask a boy scout or take a taxi! You can catch a No 15 bus from <br>
Central or Queens Rd East, Wanchai. (Make sure the bus is travelling in an Eastern direction - <br>
East being the direction you face in the morning to see the sun rise over your cornflakes. <br>
A 1A mini bus can be caught from the site of former HMS Tamar, now the Chinese PLA barracks, <br>
body parts and execution centre in Central about 50 metres East (remember the cornflakes) <br>
of Star Ferry on Hong Kong side. That is the side opposite Kowloon Side! It travels up the <br>
hill to the peak, the 1A not the Star Ferry, in a southerly direction (that is the opposite <br>
direction to the compass you have just purchased from China products) and turns left into <br>
Guildford Rd just before the aforementioned petrol station. Get off the mini bus just before <br>

"HK Rugby Sevens time and Red Mullet will be visiting to help Hugh Watt set his first run of Kiwis reign. <br><br>
This week the run will start from the Police Museum Carpark adjacent to Coombe Road Childrens Playground, Wanchai Gap. <br><br>
As any local hasher knows, this is the location with the possibility for the nastiest first check in HK - i.e. just start the pack off with the immortal words ** Check it out ** and leave them to wander around Blacks Link, Stubbs Road, Peak Road, Coombe Road and Wanchai Gap Road for 30mins before someone finds chalk and, omitting to call, leaves the rest of the pack in the lurch. <br><br>
Without fail the necks go out and the now fragmented pack never makes it back together... <br><br>
It will involve some ups and downs, steps, precipitous slopes with shiggy and some really nice dark bits with spiders... bring a torch or you may miss the wildlife... and the start of the Sevens. <br><br>
Bags will be delivered to B where a nice cold beer will await you... <br><br>
To get to the start catch a number 1 green minibus from Tamar. Get off this when it gets to Magazine Gap (i.e. as it reaches the brow of a hill and turns right at the top of Magazine Gap Road, onto Peak Road). If you see Guildford Road slide by on your left then you have gone too far - get off and walk back to Coombe Road. Then walk/jog/crawl down Coombe Road to Wanchai Gap. Easy eh? <br><br>

The minibus will go up Clearwater Bay Road and join New Clearwater Bay Road which is a dual carriage way. You will pass a Mobil and a Shell Petrol Station on your left, then two side roads. Next you will see a big bus stop on your left, at which point you should shout ** Yau Lok M-goi **. When the minibus stops, get off and follow chalk. <br><br>
