This Week's Run

18/7/02

Location: Tsing Yi Park

Hare: CU Jimmy

This week's run comes from the soon to depart CU Jimmy - who needs to attend every single run until his 'plane takes off in order to qualify for his 100 run mug.

Oh yes, but in order to meet the 'rules' laid down by the stony faced Tinx the Southside must set a run while in Shekou. Failure to do this will mean that the tour will just have a single run - and as that is being set by the Shekou Hash it simply won't qualify to be counted as an official Southside run.

I guess CU should start talking nicely to Camel to ensure that he receives his silverware....

But I digress....

This week's run is in the fabled location where one of Mr Whippy's previous runs almost rid the Southside of Smegs forever, and where a bus load of 6'4", jack booted, beret wearing storm troopers were called to deal with the 'disturbance' that the Southside circle was causing - only to be turned away by the quick tongue (as it were) of a 35 kilo, five foot nothing, honorary gentleman!!

The instructions for this week's run are ridiculously easy so Smallbone is expected to put in an appearance: Get on the MTR, go to Tsing Yi, get off the train, exit the station by exit C, then follow chalk.

As every there is a pretty map for Bouncy Tits to try and remember for more than 30 seconds after he has left his flat. Try printing it out BT!

Expect a run with steps and shiggy, with opportunities for a stunning end-to-end view of the Tsing Ma bridge (don't forget your cameras), or the petroleum storage facility - which ever takes your fancy.

History dictates that the On will be at the closest, most conveniently located eatery - which in the case of Tsing Yi always manages to be the East India in Wanchai (space must be curved or something...).

So, there you have it - your final opportunity to experience the hareing talents of CU. Be there, or miss a Cabbage-esque shiggy opportunity...
