This Week's Run 30/1/03 |

Location: Wong Tai Sin MTR Exit D2 Hare: Whippy CNY Run (A->B) The coming Chinese New Year is that of the sheep - so why start at a Buddhist temple??? Well, it seems that good old Wong Tai Sin was somewhat of a shepherd himself before he made the sideways transition to pastures new as a deity (and not many people know that!!). The pack (or should that be flock?) can expect a cunning urban A->B with lots of chalk, no shiggy, no big hills and maybe the odd loop. Those losing chalk will, of course, be left feeling sheepish as this as an A->B and so short cutters like Smegs will have to stick with the flock rather than demonstrating their usual black sheep behaviour. With rumours of a t-shirt and some fine nosh (don't worry, not grass - sorry Moose...) you would have to be blaaaaa-dy stupid to miss this run... Below are maps to help you get to 'A' - shouldn't be too challenging to get there even for the more headless members of the flock. If you wish to drive there is parking in the Wong Tai Sin Shopping Centre (though why you would want to drive is beyond me given that this is an A->B!).
Just in case you were wondering, the Chinese word for 'sheep' and 'goat' are the same.... |
