An Overview of the Run

The Pre-Run:

Ah… . An Abedeen run. A runners-run paradise. But, where were Leak on You, CU Jimmy, Spiderman, Mullet (?), and He-Hore? Where are our former fast runners? No, Perfumed Poofter you do not qualify.

And, speaking of lost in action… where is the Pope, Ali McBeal, Dangerman, McShite, STFU (who promised to show up – ED note: pedantic comment for the benefit of Pugak), and FatMan Wanks (ED note: Fenwicks was not the run start point)?

Coco gave an unusual, and magnificent overview to the evenings run, as most of the gentlemen were a bit unsure of the trail and the run particulars. Besides the normal marking lecture, Coco offered the following:

The Run:

The usual suspects… Ice, Tinks, Camel, Smallbone, & Saddle led the pack, followed closely by Kiwi, Pussywhipped, returnee Caligula, Austin Powers and Visitor Boilers to the first check. Dogbite, a surprising returnee, lagged behind – most uncharacteristically. Perhaps a shag too many whilst staying with Perfume Poofter or upon his return?

Little did the pack know that Coco’s initial trail map was largely to turn out to be true! Ok, no ropes and no swimming. But, ET getting lost, a Smegma Guilford road loop, and Ice loses the trail (again!)… too likely for chance.

Yes, yes, there was the usual upper and lower reservoir loops, pipe and stream agility challenges, and a myriad of checks and checkbacks, all of which confounded, confused and delayed the non-calling Ice. Most noteably, the dry MiddleEastern weather seemed to have taken its toll on Dogbite who never quite kept up with the front runners.

The surprise part of the run was the paintball stalker, Coco. Fortunately, his aim was bad having warded off darkness, mossies, and several beers (to keep from being dehydrated) so none of the pack were hit or even noticed him.

First “reported” in were Saddle & Camel followed closely by most of the rest of the pack including Pussywhipped, JackOff, Dogbite, Haggis, Austin Powers, & Boilers at about 40-45 minutes. Last in – as seen by all - and accompanied (arm in arm) by Hugh Watt, was Ice (dead last again). Hugh Watt comments – “Everyone short-cut but me”. Ice comments – “ I had to go back and get….(lost in translation)”.

The Circle:

After an extended cooling off period, punctuated by ET moving his car, Kiwi called the circle to order at 20:32 (pendantic time). Amah nominees include: Ice, Pussywhipped, Jack Off, Boilers, Austin Powers.

Dogbite wins hands down.

Smegma immediately asks “What time is it’? and CamelDogbite on the finer points of being an Amah. Pugak does something with himself.
