The Run:
The pack set off up Guildford road and turned right, the start was silent as poor old
SOS was left taking a piss down
in the bushes. SOS caught the
slower runners, i.e ICE, Queen of England,
Rubber Dick, and REARENDER
, who for some reason decided to turn right and follow the Kowloon Hash
marking's for 2miles, SOS naturally followed them DOH!!!!!,
What happened with the rest of the pack is pretty much a mystery, other than Camel being first back, Kiwi teaching rubber dick how to go down, and ICE getting hopelessly lost!
So the pack was divided. Once we realized we were on the wrong hash, we turned back and made our way along some trail that went along to the left, and I think met up with the Hong Kong trail or (at least a trail that is in Hong Kong!), which then continued to head east around Aberbeen Country Park, and later around Mount Nicholson This went on for about 45mins, with various, unmarked checks (thanks FRBS!) and mountains, trails, slippery sections, which brought us to another defining check. Left =Wong Chai Gap, Right =Wong Nei Chung Gap. Most of us it seems tried right, and realized NO!, and went left all except Ice and the Queen of England.
This then brought us along Blacks Link, down Wan Chai Gap Road, right along Queens Road East and in to the finish, the park next to Queen Elizabeth's Stadium.
That's as much as I can fatham from my intoxicated brain cells.
